I believe all your fans should have a contest to see who can quit their job and make their first Million the quickest, by applying the principles in your book. Something along those lines anyway. Ready? GO!

How does one do WHAT ONE LOVES, that is, his or her art, and do what Crush It suggests?
No doubt Gary is a great salesman, very loquacious, but these sorts of people (the Lee Iacoccas of the world) have always been successful.
I just don’t see anything new here.
Great salesmen have always been great listeners. And, great salesmen have always been passionate about what they SAY THEY love.
What about the guy or gal with wonderful artistic skills, but one of them not being wordsmithing?
I suppose I need clarification here.
With the limited real estate on the net for a business worldwide (that is, instead of tens of thousands of wine experts -or anything else- on the net, we are limited to the first two search engine pages)if we don’t get there first, we are dead to the consumer.
We are seeing this for example with Christmas ornaments (Just a small example). While there used to be two wonderful artisans for every mid-sized community, now we are moving toward having 20 manufacturers for the whole world, and these are not necessarily the best artisans, but rather the people with the most money for advertising or the most time to spend on the internet.
I remember that Henry Ford, and Wilbur Wright were pretty quiet guys. In the world Gary is talking about, how can Crush It work.
Ford or Wright certainly wouldn’t be spending any time on Twitter. Nor would Michelangelo or Da Vinci. Ross Perot and Jesse Jackson, yes.

Totally agree! After the third chapter i had for pages of notes quotes and new potential businesses! This book prompts you to focus and inovate with your passion nd ides! Its amazing, could not stop reading/writing notes and ideas.

I read Crush It last week and already started implementing videos in my blog. I am a photographer and it was perfect timing getting this book. I’m already seeing some positive effects from all the work. I’ve been staying up late every night trying to comment on different blogs & forums. I’m in it for the long haul because this is my livelyhood and I already see that I’m going to be light years ahead of my competition by making my business transparent.
CRUSH IT has changed my mindset regarding internet marketing. Previously I believed that I had to use email capture pages/squeeze pages, but Gary has helped me realize that with social media capture pages are obsolete… Gary V is like Seth Godin on speed!!!
