If you have the will, there is always the way. Building a business is never free. You are always investing either your time or your money but usually it’s both.

You are on a shoe string so you will need to depend on ”bum marketing” which is writing articles and doing A TON of social marketing. Facebook and Twitter are free. Gary talks about this in his book.

Get the book first. Figure out your passion and a way to monitize it. Make sure there is a demand b/c w/o customers there no income.

Next part is driving traffic through the outlets that Gary lays out for you and doing your own bum marketing.

Once you have a small income, reinvest it into paid traffic and scaling out your business.

Gary,

I purchase your book 10 days ago and couldn’t put it down. I have a solid Affiliate Marketing business that allowed my wife to quit her job as director of marketing for ING, a solid coaching business and a growing membership site. Despite this, I stuck with my consulting gig for diversification although programming C# for the local college isn’t my passion like my coaching and AffPortal is.

A day after buying your book I put in my 30 day notice that I’m done working as a consultant for the college.

My passion is affiliate marketing, building websites, driving paid traffic and coaching others to do the same. I love every minute of my time that I spend on it (7pm to 2am weekday nights) and now it’s time to go full time.

When you mentioned that if you have day job, to take advantage of your time in the twilight hours, that described EXACTLY what I have been doing for 18 months now.

Thank you for being my “inciting incident”. March 19th can not come soon enough.
