I pre-ordered mine and still don’t have it?
I also talked about personal branding with my business group today and plugged you.
Do I get a wristband too?
If you buy 3 and send a receipt to wristband@vaynermedia.com we’ll get a wristband on its way. Thanks for pre-ordering!

Is an audio book version of CRUSH IT! planned?? The only paper books I’ve read in the last 5 years were tech manuals. I’m huge on audio books.
Yep, currently its slated to come out in December. |

Gary goes into the details on his Wine Library specifics in the book, so that answer is on its way.
As for the design of the website, it was by our ridiculously talented in-house designer Adam Kopec.
You can check him out a bit more at his website:
http://adamkopec.com/ or follow him at @kopecwins.
Our developer, Neil Sarkar (@neilsarkar) was also instrumental at getting everything set up, including this forum. |

Bookstore Reachout Questions and Discussion

Let’s use this thread to talk about the plan to reach out to every independent book store in America and ask them to carry Crush It.
We’re offering to highlight the stores that buy more than 10 books on a facebook/crushitbook.com page that Gary will promote which is an angle that’s been working well for us.
Cold calling is a pretty thankless job, so any calls you guys make we really appreciate. Hopefully in this thread we can break down some strategy and tips and figure out how to call these stores in the most effective way possible. |

Word.
I\’ve already talked to the owner of the Learned Owl Book Shop in Hudson, Ohio. They are taking pre-orders now, and have put me in charge of planing a possible book signing. As for how many they are going to order for the store, I don\’t know.
Sounds good, anything I can do to help the process, let me know! |

Welcome again to the new forum. I wanted to get the conversation rolling on the street team since I’ve been getting a ton of messages lately from people wondering about its status.
As of right now the main initiative we’re still working on is calling independent book stores and asking them to carry the book or carry more of it. In return we’re going to set up a Facebook page and a page on this site that highlights the book stores that are going above and beyond in supporting the book and hopefully get them some free publicity.
We’re hoping this board helps everyone organize and coordinate a little easier. We’re super ridiculously grateful for anything you guys do, it keeps us motivated to stay working hard to make sure Crush It’s message gets out.
I’ll be frequenting this board, as will Gary, so hopefully we’ll be able to help out with anything you all need!
Take care and looking forward to talking to everyone some more in the coming months.

Welcome to the official message board of the Crush It street team! My name’s Marcus and I’m here to help you get the word out about the book.
We really appreciate you helping out and we’d love to hear any ideas or comments you have. This forum is so we can better organize our activities, help each other out with promotion strategies, and talk about anything and everything Crush It.
We’ll be using the forum as a sounding board to any ideas we have as well and hopefully passing along some goodies (in conjunction with the newsletter, which I’d encourage everyone to sign up for as well.) I’m excited to start bouncing around some ideas with you all and getting the word out on an awesome book! |
