Okay, as I continued reading, I came across Jared Montz, who would blog until 3 a.m. and wake up again at 6 a.m. … to me that is insane. I could not do that, or if I could I would not handle it very long.
As for a passion, as I said, there are a few things I am passionate about, though only one I can draw on a lot of expertise in: graphic design. One the scale of 1-10 (1 being beginner and 10 expert), I am 8 in graphic design.
Here’s a list of all my passions in order of skill level:
1. Graphic Design – 8
2. Music – 7
3. Languages – 6 (I speak 4 languages, 3 fluently)
4. Photography – 4
I could concentrate on the passion where I acquired the most knowledge, but my heart faints from the thought of having my entire time dedicated to the one and not being able to develop the others.
I am open to any and all comments and suggestions. Never mind the topic of my post, that’s just to get your attention, I’m looking for solutions just like you and want some input. Thanks!
I’ve read read about a quarter of the book and I already have some issues/questions about this whole thing. Now, I suppose I should ask questions after I’ve actually read the whole book, but I guess I’m gonna be an impatient dork… here they are:
1. What if I am passionate about several things? What do I do? Market several brands at the same time?
2. If you spent so much time blogging about your passion, where do you find time actually living it? You can get busy talking about it, but what about doing it?
**I find it more fulfilling doing what I love rather than just talking about it.**
3. If you have a full-time job, honey do list and family and church commitments, how do you survive on 3.5 hours of sleep a night for 12 months??
